The difficulty in the first game was not too bad really, hard, but not that hard. I actually got the game from a friend and eventually decided to finish it. The ending I found rather unexpected. The second one was insainly difficult and had some really annoying parts in it, honestly I think they bumped the difficulty up a little too high in some parts and not allowing you to skip scenes from a save point after dying. Control was not all that good either when performing jumps.
The third one is a major face lift and I've only started it, finally having the ability to fly and not glide seems to be a plus, and the ability to switch back and forth between spyro and cynder is kinda interesting. I do remember a little over 10 years ago when I got the first game on PS1, though they got a tad too corny as sequels progressed.
I'll note that some of the fanart I have seen on fur affinity is deplorable, why must everyone turn everything into sex, seriously. Though the first thing I found on FA was far worse.
Need to clean the iguana cage again, and a few other errands today..blah, busy.

Well, everyone needs a little change. Even if it is to another species.
Not sure if I'll try out any of the new Spyro games. I played the first three and liked them but I've heard they go downhill from there. What exactly about these three did you find corny?
the second one bout not being able to skip. you can. i cant remember exactly what button, but i thnk it was actually a combination of buttons, i thnk including the R and L buttons. ill have to chek up on that. :/
as for the third game, i love the flying feature too. my only qualm with it is...not sure how to word it without spoiling...rushed(?) i cant say much more than that since you said yu didnt finish it yet.
